Privacy policy

We collect very little, we do not track you, and we never sell your data.

Who we are.

Wide Open Digital runs this website and is responsible for the personal information described here.

Contact: wideopendigitalteam (at) gmail.com, 67 Armonim St., Kiryat Yam, Israel.

What we collect, and why.

  • What you send us. The forms open your own email app, or Gmail or WhatsApp if you choose them. Nothing is stored on this website itself. When you send, we receive your name, business, site address, email, phone if you add it, and your message. We use it only to reply, run the scan you asked for, and prepare a quote.
  • The help chat. What you type in the chat is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a reply, and we don't save the content of chat conversations. According to Cloudflare, it doesn't keep the content of your messages once the reply has been generated, except where the law requires it, and doesn't use it to train AI models. To prevent abuse, your IP address is checked briefly against a request counter, without your message text and without being stored permanently. Cloudflare may keep technical data about requests, without message content, to operate and secure the service. Replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, so please don't share personal details in the chat; to hear back from us, use a form.
  • Your language choice. One cookie, wod_lang, remembers whether you chose Hebrew or English, for one year.
  • Accessibility menu settings. Saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits in aggregate and to measure how fast pages load. We see only aggregate figures, such as pages viewed, country, device type, browser and the referring site. According to Cloudflare, it stores no cookies or other data in your browser, does not fingerprint visitors by IP address, browser details or any other data, and does not track individual users across sites. We do not use advertising trackers.

You are not legally required to give us any of this information; without it we cannot reply to you.

Who receives it.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

It is handled by the services we use to run the business: our email provider (Google, for Gmail), where messages from our forms arrive; WhatsApp (owned by Meta), if you choose to send through it; our hosting provider; and Cloudflare, which processes chat messages to generate replies and measures page loads for Web Analytics.

Their servers may be in other countries.

We share information with others only if the law requires it.

The accessibility menu on our clients’ sites

If a client adds our accessibility menu to their site, a visitor’s browser contacts our server, which runs on Cloudflare, to check whether the menu is on. The request technically carries the IP address, the browser type and the site’s address (not the specific page).

We use this only to decide whether to show the menu. We do not store it, profile anyone or share it. Cloudflare may process it on servers in other countries. The settings a visitor picks in the menu are stored only in their own browser.

For this data the site owner is responsible, and we act on their behalf under our agreement with them.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it.

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and our work together, and as required by law for business records, then delete it. Access is limited to us.

Your rights.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to wideopendigitalteam (at) gmail.com.

In the United States

We do not track visitors across other websites, so we treat “Do Not Track” browser signals the same as no signal: either way, no cross-site tracking happens.

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
